"Im unsure what happened after Chris Gallman retired n he was the best agent State farm has ever had. I'm most definitely going to be shopping around for new insurance asap. I've already gotten a home owners quote n it's half of what I'm currently paying at state farm. State Farm told me today that I needed to contact Wells Fargo cause they haven't received a payment I made on July 9, 2024 n it was electronic transfer. I've been using electronic bill pAy for over 25 plus years n have never had a payment not show up or fail as State Farm is claiming. I made an overpayment in January of 2024 of approximately $200 n 7 months later im still waiting on that refund check. It seems like they would just apply an overpayment to the balance due or something else besides claiming they sent a refund. I wasn't aware that I couldn't make a $300 payment towards a quarterly $500 + homeowners policy n they received that payment which was made at the same time as the one they claim they didn't receive! Seems like someone from the local agency would have called me n let me know but heard nothing. Had Chris Gallman still been there someone would have called immediately. So I'm unsure since they rejected my $300 towards my homeowners policy If I even have insurance? N the lady handling my phone call had to go cause it was 5pm n she had other calls to return, I was asked to call back tomorrow morning. So now I'm assuming I owe the full amount of my homeowners policy but since I was short to begin with n had made $300 payment n had I just known id paid n full on a credit card but again no one called or even notified me! No telling how long it's going to take to get the $300 refund since they rejected my payment instead of contacting me n letting me pay the balance due. Im most definitely going to be obtaining quotes from other insurance companies asap. Since Chris Gallman retired, the agent that replaced him just isn't going to be able to handle my insurance needs n im sure there will be many others leaving State Farm as well n or getting different agents."

"If I could give a no star review, I would. I tried to call the office three different times within a week or two between 8-11:30 or 1:00-5. As I assume they go to lunch between 12 and 1 or sometime around. I was never able to get anyone on the phone and left a message with no call back. I emailed through the website twice, requesting a policy change and never got a call back. I chatted with customer service angent about two weeks ago to cancel my policy as I wasn’t able to get a hold of my agent. They said they would email and send a request in. Then I find out when I called back today that my policy still hasn’t been canceled that I needed canceled on 6/3. This is absolutely ridiculous. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a hold of someone when all I wanted was a policy change, and then I cancellation due to never getting a response about the policy change."

"Michael Hovis State Farm has been phenomenal for me and my family. They make us feel safe and secure with our decision to choose them and I recommend them to all my friends and quite frankly I would recommend them to anyone! Ms. Liddy in particular did a great job getting me a quote as she was very thorough and diligent with providing what I needed! "With all of the staff and agent issues in this office I have chosen to move to another SF office. I’m not impressed at all with their unprofessional and untimely day to day operations. Savannah and Zac have no reason to be working with the public at this point. Zac can’t even prepare an email with capitalization and punctuation. Savannah has a hard time following up on things even when I call or stop by. Good luck everyone but I am moving on."
